Wildfire is a growing risk in Scotland, and our founders, Iain and Calum realised that there was a real need for improvements in Land Management and a better understanding of how the risk of Wildfire can be managed.

This realisation led to the creation of Bright Spark Burning Techniques. A company built upon decades of experience and understanding which can provide education and training for those who manage the land, regardless of whether it be sporting estates, wind farms, forestry or any other type of land undertaking.

We can also offer training for those who respond to wildfires alongside our national Fire Service. This training is designed to keep volunteers safe, help them to understand the Command and Control structures that a Wildfire needs, and to identify how best all responders can bring their own expertise to support the overall response to these devastating incidents.

As well as having a catalogue of courses available, Bright Spark Burning Techniques can also design a bespoke training package for you if your needs differ from our existing offering.

We are able to support you in the creation of your own Wildfire risk Management Plan and any resulting actions that come from it.
